OmniKeys Privacy Policy
Effective: September 5, 2026
Anayya LLC d/b/a OmniPay Solutions
OmniKeys is a keyboard for iPhone. This policy explains what the app and its keyboard extension do with your information. The short version: nothing leaves your device.
What OmniKeys does not do
- OmniKeys does not collect, store, log, or transmit anything you type. Not keystrokes, not words, not the contents of any field.
- OmniKeys does not send data to Anayya LLC or to any third party.
- OmniKeys does not use analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking of any kind.
- OmniKeys does not access your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera.
- OmniKeys does not use the network. The keyboard extension makes no network requests.
Why the keyboard asks for Full Access
iOS requires a keyboard to have Full Access enabled before it can play sound. OmniKeys asks for Full Access only so key-press sounds can play. It uses no other Full Access capability. You can leave Full Access off; the keyboard works fully, silently.
Apple documents what Full Access permits at the system level. Regardless of what the permission would allow, OmniKeys contains no code that reads typed text for any purpose other than displaying it on the keys and generating on-device predictions.
Prediction and glide typing
Word suggestions and glide typing run entirely on your device using Apple's built-in text checker and a word list bundled inside the app. Nothing you type is sent anywhere to produce suggestions.
The one thing that does leave your device: feedback
If you choose to send feedback from the Feedback tab, the app sends what you typed in that form to OmniPay's server. That is the only network request OmniKeys ever makes, and it happens only when you press Send.
What is sent: your message, your device model, iOS version and app version (so we can reproduce what you describe), and — only if you type it in — an email address so we can reply. Your IP address is stored as a one-way hash for abuse prevention and cannot be turned back into an address.
What it is used for: reading and acting on the feedback, and replying to you if you asked for one. Nothing else. It is not sold, shared, or used for marketing.
How long it is kept: feedback is kept while OmniKeys is maintained. Email addresses are deleted 90 days after we reply, or 90 days after receipt if no reply was needed. To have your message removed sooner, write to privacy@omnipossolution.com.
The keyboard extension itself still makes no network requests, ever.
Settings
Your theme, sound, and layout choices are saved on your device in a private container shared only between the OmniKeys app and its keyboard extension. They never leave the device.
Motion
Tilt lighting reads the device's motion sensor to shift the light direction on the keys. Motion data is used only for that visual effect and is not stored or transmitted.
Children
OmniKeys does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at the same address with an updated effective date.
